Grant Applications
Grants are available for those needing financial assistance. Grant requests should
be in writing, expressing the amount needed and the reason for the need. Please

Briefing Meeting
There will be a briefing meeting for men going on the trip at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday,
May 2, at Lakeview Baptist Church (Auburn).
Clothing
A Carpenters for Christ dress shirt, a Carpenters for Christ work shirt and hat
are included in the cost of the trip. The dress shirt must be worn
when traveling to and from New Market and to all official functions. Please pack
as few clothes as possible. Tag all of your belongings to ensure getting them back
(and not getting stuck with another person's duds).
The ladies of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church will pick up clothes to wash on
Tuesday, May 18 and return them on Wednesday, May 19.
Transportation
Transportation for those leaving from Auburn will be by church vans. Two vans will
leave the Lakeview Baptist Church campus at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, May 14.
Participants not utilizing the transportation arranged by the Carpenters will be
responsible for their own transportation expenses.

- Tape measure (25 foot suggested minimum)
- Toiletries
- Insect repellent
- Pillow, sheets and blanket, cot, air mattress, or sleeping bag. (twin/single
size only)
- Towels, washcloth, soap, shower shoes.
- Hard hat -- we have hats if you don't!
Anyone working in an area where the potential for something to land on your head
will be required to wear a hard hat.
Loading Trailers
We will be loading the trailers with supplies, bedding, tools, etc. on Wednesday
evening, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lakeview entrance near room N102 (by the loading
dock).
