Dauphin Island Baptist Church :: Dauphin Island, AL

We will be framing and roofing at 3762 square foot education building. We are partnering with the C4C team of Glen Baptist Church (Glen St. Mary, FL) on this project. Lakeview will start the building process and work through Wednesday; Glen Baptist will arrive on Wednesday and continue working through Saturday evening. You can register with GBC C4C to stay and work the second half of the week as well.

    • $100. Includes work shirt and meals for entire time.
    • $30. Includes work shirt and meals for one day - Saturday, 20 FEB 2016.

Packing List

You will need to bring:

  • a Bible
  • sleeping bag and/or air mattress (twin size)
  • pillow
  • bathroom linens
  • toilet articles
  • long pants
  • your personal tools (anything that goes in or hangs on your tool belt – if you don’t have a tool belt or tools, come anyway)
    • hammer
    • nail apron/tool belt
    • 25' tape measure
    • gloves
    • hardhat (if possible)
    • protective eyewear

Travel arrangements

Participants are encouraged to arrive Friday evening, February 19. Work starts at 7:00 a.m. CST on Saturday, 20 FEB.

Lakeview is providing transportation to and from Dauphin Island Baptist Church (leaving Lakeview at 5 p.m. CST, 19 FEB, leaving Dauphin Island 2 p.m. CST, 24 FEB). The worksite is approximately 260 miles from Auburn - a four hour drive.
